What’s A Niche and Can I Find One Too?

When I came upon that little word — Niche — I wondered, “what is this thing called a Niche — and most importantly, can I find my own niche too?

What is A Niche

Well, A niche, is a service or product , that fills an unmet customer’s need — that is more of a speciality. You are not competing with the masses for a sale on an ebook or an affiliate tool. Instead, you carve out a small corner of the market for yourself on the Internet.

Well, the definition was simple, however, finding a niche that I felt comfortable with was going to be a chore, because I wanted to avoid the affiliate programs — and if possible find a company that privately carried their own affiliate program — without the quota’s and the many rules.

How to Find A Niche

When I started looking for a niche market, I started to make a list of my hobbies, what I liked to do, what I was interested in and what I was familiar with — to help me brainstorm. If this little task does nothing else, it will definitely give you an eye-opener to who you are.

Anyway, when the dust finally settled I realized that I wanted a niche where it would assist others — perform a service of some sort, and would compliment my current website. Not very decisive, but I had a direction.

Then it happened, just by chance, or maybe it was divine intercession — anyway, I received a personal email from one of the assistant manager’s from DentalPlans — stating that she liked my website and wondered if I would be interested in becoming an affiliate.

I looked at their website and the affiliate plan — and I knew that this affiliate program was for me.

Here’s What DentalPlan Offers

1. High conversion rate — 1-5% percent conversion ratio from click thrus.

2. Commission — $40 to $50.

3. Extremely high EPC.

4. Partner through DentalPlans private network — Your affiliate manager will answer any questions you may have — one on one assistance.

5. You can promote on-line or off-line or both.

Why People say – There is no money in Internet Marketing.

Just finished check my email. Nothing new, three payment notification emails from PayPal, two new ClickBank sales, one new prospect in membership site I’m promoting and one mail from a frustrated marketer “I’ve been doing Internet marketing for last 3 years, I’ve joined so many programs. I

max out my credit card but haven’t made a dime yet.”

I receive this type of mails daily and always wonder why people don’t earn money through Internet. In fact it’s the easiest way to make money. I think there may be two reasons behind it.

1. People are not willing to learn.

People don’t want to learn. A research shows that 97% people think that they are smarter than others and they need not to learn new things. I’m not saying that they are wrong. Off course they are expert in their field but when it comes to other field or say Internet marketing they are zero. They don’t know anything about it so they should learn first.

You may ask what about the rest 3%. Well these 3% people don’t think they are smarter (they are actually smartest) and they try to learn from everyone. That’s why these 3% people are having 97% wealth of the world.

2. Internet is filled with hypes.

The second reason is that internet is filled with hypes. There are thousands of companies and marketers, who want only your money. They don’t care about you and usually don’t deliver what they promised. When somebody tries to

learn from them, he ends up with an exhausted credit card and a belief that “There is no money in Internet Marketing”

So the real question is what you should do to get succeed. In one line “Learn everything from a reliable source and implement that strategies in your business.

There is a shocking fact “successful internet marketers don’t try to sale anything to anybody”.

“What, how will they earn money if they don’t sale” you may ask. Well first they gain trust of people and than simply recommend some product. The best way to gain trust is give them some valuable gift. It may be a mini-course, a short report or some kind of software. You too can do it.

>> I don’t have enough knowledge to create a mini-course or report.

>> I don’t have any software to giveaway.

>> I am not so famous why people will trust me.

>> I can’t do it because I am too young or too old.

>> I missed the right time to enter in Internet marketing.

You may sound like this but there is always a way around what-ever the excuse is. When these famous marketers started, nobody knows them. Today we have a marketer who earned millions in just 19 years of age. So don’t forget “There is always a way.”

So here is a short and simple way to get success:

1. Join list of 5-6 well-known marketers.

The first step is very important. Join mailing list of 5-6 famous marketers and learn what they teach you. If you learn carefully, you’ll come to know that things are always same, the only difference is way of presentation. When you

join some e-courses from famous marketers, you’ll have enough data to compile your own course. I’m not saying that you just copy their course. Grab an Idea from their course and make yours.

2. Search for free software you can giveaway.

You can find thousands of software, ebooks for free online. Just get a few good software or ebooks to offer as incentives to people.

I’ve just discovered breakthrough money-making software. This software generate sale and automatically deliver products just by giving away for free. Get your copy of this amazing software at no cost here:

.ultimatemoneytyphoon.com/umt/

Now offer your mini e-course, report or software to people nd gain their trust. Once you have their trust, you can recommend them new products and earn over and over again. Again don’t try to sell anything to anybody, just give them your recommendation.

Super-Affiliate’s! What Are They… How Do I Find Them and Why They’re Your… TICKET To Online Success!

Super-Affiliate’s!

What are they?

Do you see this term often online and end up confused to what it means and the purpose they serve online?

It sounded really mysterious to me when I first came across the term which peeked my curiosity and led me to research the term further to find out exactly what the term meant and more importantly what there roll was in the Internet marketing world.

The information I discovered was Astonishing!

What I’m about to reveal to you in this article will blow your mind and hopefully take away the mystery and answer the questions you once had about what a ‘Super-Affiliate’ is and why they ARE your…

…”Ticket To Online Success!”

Let’s first take away the mystery behind what a ‘Super-Affiliate’ is so that you’ll have a clear picture inside your head of how they’ll benefit your online business for years to come.

A ‘Super-Affiliate’ is simply either or both a High Traffic website and/or a eZine/Newsletter owner with a HUGE targeted opt-in mailing list that are able to sell more in a given day then you could in a month.

As you will learn, the internet is nothing more then a numbers game and the super-affiliate’s are simply the one’s who have already put in the time and have the highest numbers when it comes to ‘Website Traffic’ and targeted ‘Opt-In’ mailing lists.

Are you starting to see the BIG picture yet?

Now, lets move on and break this down a little with some rough numbers so you’ll be able to have better idea of what to look for when it comes to locating an ‘Super-Affiliate’ via search engines and/or eZine/Newsletter directories.

Let’s first start with the Search Engines.

When your searching the web for super-affiliate’s with high traffic website’s this is the general guide line I use to gauge there importance.

But, in order for me to do a proper traffic analysis of there website I need to use a special webmaster toolbar offered through Alexa.com.

This toolbar is essential and a must have when it comes to locating super-affiliate’s and the reason why is because it reveals the ‘Traffic Ranking’ for that particular website you are viewing making it easier for you to tell the difference between the super-affiliate’s and the other website’s that are just getting by.

Here’s the link to where you can download your own free Alexa toolbar if you choose:

- download.alexa.com/

Now… for the numbers.

When I’m searching for an super-affiliate related to my Product, Service and/or any of the affiliate programs I am promoting via the search engines and I happen to come across a website that has a traffic ranking of 50,000 or lower using the Alexa toolbar to gauge the TR then these are the website’s where the super-affiliate’s reside and are the one’s I will want to contact with a business proposition.

As a general rule using website analysis, the lower the TR, the BETTER.

Why?

Because it means that particular website is receiving Lots… and Lots of traffic which is just what you’re looking for.

Now… that’s the general idea behind locating super-affiliate’s through website analysis and the search engines.

This next part I’m going to show you where to locate the super-affiliate’s with HUGE targeted mailing lists.

This is where you stand to benefit the most and could in turn make a substantial amount of money within the next 24 hours of your business proposition if accepted by the list owner.

The best places to locate an ‘Super-Affiliate’ with a HUGE mailing list are through eZine/Newsletter directories. I’ve listed a few of the Top directories below to save you the hassle of having to search for them yourself.

- Ezine Universe

.ezine-universe.com

- Ezine Hub

.ezinehub.com

- Go-Ezines

.go-ezines.com

- Netter Web

.netterweb.com

- Ezine Search

.ezinesearch.com

These directories databases are searchable and are full of thousands of ezine/newsletters with list sizes that range from 1000 subscribers to 250,000 subscribers and up.

It’s pretty easy to figure out who the super-affiliate’s are going to be here.

The Bigger the list size, the BETTER.

But… as a general rule I would have to say that any ezine/newsletter owner with a list size of 75,000 or more subscribers I would consider an ‘Super-Affiliate’.

Remember, this is just a general guide line.

Don’t discard the list owners with smaller lists. The more eZine/Newsletter owners you contact the greater your chances are of SUCCESS!

Now that you know what a super-affiliate is and how to find them Both on the Web and through ezine/newsletter directories your probably wondering how…

… “They’re Your TICKET To Online Success!”

Well, its actually quite simple.

If you own your own Product and/or offer a Service, and this will even work if your an affiliate to someone else’s program, all you have to do is simply locate and approach related website and/or ezine/newsletter owners with a JV(Joint Venture) and/or business proposition offering them a reasonable share(percentage) of the profits if they were to accept your business proposal.

That’s It!

And the best part about this approach is that you don’t even have to spend a penny on advertising and the traffic you’ll receive will be ‘Laser Targeted’ making your chances of SUCCESS that much Greater.

I really hope this article opened your eye’s up and cleared up any unanswered questions you once had about what a ‘Super-Affiliate’ was, what there roll is in the Internet marketing world and more importantly… How you can locate them via the Web.

REVEALED! The Secret FUEL That POWERS The Net and Why It Should Be Part Of Your Marketing Strategy

What I’m about to reveal to you in this article will literally change the Way you do your online marketing for years to come and will add many Benefits to You and your online promotions ‘Effortlessly’.

This secret(A.K.A. — Secret FUEL) that I’m going to talk about is so Powerful that it will…

– give You and your business ‘Instant Credibility’…

– Boost your websites ‘Link Popularity’ and ‘Search

Engine’ ranking…

– send you FREE ‘Laser Targeted’ traffic with ready to

Buy customers…

– help you build ‘Targeted’ opt-in mailing lists…

…and these are just some of the Benefits you’ll receive, But, in my mind, these are the most important.

Now, before I dive right into it I first want to do a little bit of a history lesson about WHY the Internet was born and more importantly, its Sole purpose so you’ll have a clear picture inside your head about WHY this ‘Secret FUEL’ that I’m about to reveal to you is so important to your online business.

So… lets get started by finding out when the ‘Internet’ was conceived.

The Internet was born on October 29, 1969. This date is significant because it was the 1st time in history that a computer talked to another computer via a router over a network.

So that roughly makes the Internet about 35 years old.

Now that we know when the Internet was born, what we need to know now is what was its Sole purpose?

The World Wide Web(Internet) is simply a… ‘Wide-Area Hypermedia Information Retrieval System’ aiming to give users(You) universal access to a large universe of Documents and/or Information.

So, with that said, basically the Internet is nothing more than a sophisticated communication device that gives us (You) the ability to Exchange and/or search for…

… !!INFORMATION!!

I guess thats a good reason WHY they call it… “The Information Super Highway”.

So… now that we’ve had that little history lesson I’m sure you probably have a good idea about what the ‘Secret FUEL’ is that I’m about to REVEAL to you.

BUT, if you don’t, don’t cheat and skip to the end.

Now, its pretty obvious that the Internet is merely a tool by which we use to locate related information that we query through the use of Search Engines by using related keywords or keyword phrases that we choose.

The question is, where does the ‘Secret FUEL’ fit into this equation?

You’ll be surprised with my answer because the ‘Secret FUEL’ that I’m about to tell you about is everywhere on the Web and people just like you and I are Hunting for IT as we speak.

So, I guess Now would be a good time to reveal to you…

…”The Secret FUEL That POWERS The Internet”.

Are you ready?

The ‘Secret FUEL’ that POWERS the Internet is simply…

… !!CONTENT!!

Just think about it for a minute and ask yourself this question… what’s the Main reason why You go online?

I can guarantee the majority of you answered… to find Information related to and/or about… whatever your query was.

Information is delivered through ‘Content’. Content is what FUEL’s the Internet, which means, You should be contributing by way of writing Informative articles related to your business.

Now, some of you are probably saying to yourself, I don’t know how to write articles let alone have anything to write about and will writing articles really Benefit my business in the long run?

Well, if you don’t know how to write articles… Start. I didn’t either in the beginning, but I learned and so can you.

It’s simply a learning process.

Now, how will writing articles benefit You and your business?

I outlined them earlier in my article, but will list the four main Benefit’s and the Why’s in point form below.

1)

How does it…

– give You and your business ‘Instant Credibility’?

Answer: By writing about your Product or Service you’re able to convey to your potential customer the Benefits and Solutions your Product and/or Service will solve giving you Instant Credibility and a reason for them to look into what you have to offer further.

2)

How does it…

– Boost your websites ‘Link Popularity’ and ‘Search

Engine’ ranking?

Answer: When you write your article you are able to leave a ‘Resource Box’(a brief description about You and/or your business with your URL included at the end). Now, when you submit your article to Article Directories or other website’s directories and website’s across the web and they add it to there directories you’ll get a ‘Link’ pointing back to your site.

Major search engines like Google and Yahoo! for example use ‘Link Popularity’ to gauge a website’s Importance and Ranking.

This is also a great strategy to use to get High PR websites to link back to you without even doing a ‘Link Exchange’. This is just what you want.

3)

How does it…

– send you FREE ‘Laser Targeted’ traffic with ready to

Buy customers?

Answer: When website owners are looking for fresh related content for either their website and/or newsletter and they happen to choose your article, they’ll have to publish your article with your ‘Resource Box’ included with all your website and contact information.

Just think how much ‘Laser Targeted’ traffic you’d get if your article is posted on a HIGH traffic website and/or in a newsletter with a HUGE subscriber base thats related to your niche.

Now, do you see where the ‘Laser Targeted’ traffic will come from.

4)

How does it…

– help you build ‘Targeted’ opt-in mailing lists?

Answer: Again, when website owners are looking for fresh related content for either their website and/or newsletter they will have to publish your article with your ‘Resource Box’ included with all your website and contact information.

So, when they visit your website through the information within your ‘Resource Box’ you’ll then have a chance to capture there Name and Email Address by offering them something of Value for FREE through either a ‘Pop-Up’ or ‘Exit Pop-Up’ and/or ‘Web Form’ on your website.

By doing this simple step you’ll be able to build your own ‘Targeted’ opt-in mailing list that you can hit up with other back-end offers anytime you wish at absolutely NO COST to You.

Now, do you see Why ‘CONTENT’ is so Powerful and how it FUEL’s the Internet?

Do you honestly think your business could Benefit from what I have revealed to you within this article?

I can almost Guarantee you probably answered… YES.

With that said, writing articles and submitting them to online publications is, in my mind, one of the most Effective ways to get Free Advertising and Publicity for your business for years to come.

People Getting Rich Online – Viral Marketing

As I mentioned in the last entry, I’ve been speaking with people who are making $5000 – $10,000 or more a month online, and I’m beginning to see some common factors.

You have to understand how difficult it is to get people to talk to you about their successes. They remind me of the inventors I’ve spoken to about financing their products &ndash they are deathly afraid that someone will steal their ideas, not realizing that their talent is part of the success of that idea. Sometimes it took several emails, an IM and a lot of promises, but I got people to talk.

One of the factors that struck me very early is the fact that most of the successful people I spoke with use some form of viral marketing in their advertising and marketing plan.

Viral Marketing is a marketing strategy that encourages other people to spread your marketing message, which grows your exposure exponentially. Link exchanges are a good example of viral marketing, because people take the link to your site and put it on theirs. When people link to their sites, they see yours. Then they may take your link and add it to their site. Just for fun I ran the SEOElite backlink checker on a successful web entrepreneur’s site. There were 1498 different sites that had his URL in them. Not bad. Affiiate programs are also viral in nature.

The guru of viral marketing has to be Dr. Ralph Wilson. You should definitely visit his WilsonWeb site. There are many terrific articles there.

These are Dr. Wilson’s six elements of a viral marketing strategy:

1. Give away products or services

2. Provide for effortless transfer to others

3. Scale easily from small to very large

4. Exploit common motivations and behaviors

5. Utilize existing communication networks

6. Leverage the resources of others

Viral Marketing seems to be an integral part of making a lot of money online. It could be as simple as trading a small banner or button for a directory listing (Income: $8000 a month), or offering webmasters a cut of your earnings to get them to your website to view your content and then buy (Income: $4000 a month). In fact, doesn’t that second business model describe Chitika, the ill-fated PPC network?

Multiple tier affiliate programs, where you get a cut of the income from people you get to sign up, are other examples of viral marketing.

You don’t have to do anything quite as dramatic, but I think it would be a smart idea to come up with some viral marketing elements for your own web site. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Write articles and get them posted on free article sites. Make the content compelling and the title provocative and interesting. Make sure at least one link appears in the article.

2. Install a ‘email this page to a friend’ script or plugin. There are plenty of them out there on the Internet.

3. Come up with a free product, utility or service that will promote your business, and encourage people to distribute it. Even if you have to pay for one to be made, it will be worth it.

4. Write for free on a well-known site in your area of expertise, especially one with a newsletter or free article distribution. This is a terrific way to perpetuate your site virally.

5. Put together an affiliate program that gets your banner on websites. If you have a unique utility, service or information source, you can get webmasters to put up a small box, banner or chicklet that has a link to your site.

Viral marketing can make you rich…I’ve seen the examples. The reason is simple…you are giving people something for free that they perceive as valuable, and they are telling other people how smart they are for getting something for free. In order to tell other people they have to mention you. It’s brilliant.

Making Money Online , Selling Other People

A lot of people are now getting into online businesses and online marketing either to supplement their “real world” income or for it to become their primary source of income. Why? Because online marketing just provides them a lot of benefits!

First, you can reach just about anybody in the world who has Internet access if you market your products online. That means a wider market for you, which can translate to larger profits. Second, setting up an online business requires only a fraction of the cost required to set up an actual business establishment, which means a lot of savings for the business owner.

Another aspect that has attracted a lot of people towards online marketing is the fact that one doesn’t have to have his own products to get started. In online marketing, one can start making a lot of money just by selling, or even by just trying to sell, other people’s products. And getting started with this kind of marketing strategy is actually quite easy. All that one needs to do is to set up an agreement with an online retailer or merchant, and after everything is settled, one can immediately start making money by selling the merchant’s or the retailer’s products.

Incidentally, the most popular and the fastest growing method of selling other people’s products online is affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing, in its simplest definition, is a relationship between an online merchant or retailer, who has products to sell, and his affiliates, who are willing to promote the merchant’s product on their website.

In a typical affiliate marketing set up, the merchant provides his affiliates with banners and text ads that links to his site. The affiliates will then get these ads posted on their website and they get paid whenever traffic or sales is directed to the merchant’s website. Affiliates are often paid on commission basis, although other online merchants would opt to pay a fixed fee for the affiliate’s compensation.

Starting to make money online with affiliate marketing is relatively quick and easy. All that one has to do is to sign up as an affiliate for an online company that offers affiliate programs. An alternative method, and usually an easier one, is to sign up as a member of an affiliate network&ndasha network that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for different online merchants or retailers. Signing up is usually free, although other companies and networks may require you to pay a particular fee. Such fees, however, are made as payment for additional services that the company may render, like providing you with tools and assistance to jumpstart your online business.

When you sign up with an affiliate marketing program, you are usually required to fill out a form containing information about yourself. Some affiliate programs may also require you to present the URL of your website and describe its contents. This will allow the retailers to verify that you actually have a website with contents that are relevant to their products. Some affiliate programs, however, won’t require you to have a website. After filling out the form and all, you are then allowed to choose the affiliate programs you want to promote.

After signing up with an affiliate program and being an actual affiliate, you are now ready to start making a lot of money by selling other people’s product online. How do you make money? There are actually a number of ways for you to earn money as an affiliate, and most of these ways depends on the type of affiliate marketing program you’ve gotten into.

Many affiliate marketing programs compensate their affiliates in either of three ways: pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-sale (PPS), or pay-per-lead (PPL). In pay-per-click affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever he directs traffic to the merchant’s site. PPS and PPL affiliate marketing programs work rather differently. In PPS, the affiliate only gets paid when his referral converts into an actual sale. In typical PPS affiliate programs, the affiliate would usually get 15% to 20% commission for each conversion. PPL affiliate programs work the same way, although affiliates are paid a fixed fee whenever his referral converts into a lead for the company.

Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is also allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant. In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchant’s site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

Yet another way of earning more profits with affiliate marketing is through residual affiliate programs. Residual affiliate programs are affiliate programs where the affiliate gets paid a number of times for as long as the merchant keeps the customer the affiliate has referred to his site. One form of residual program gets the affiliate paid a commission every time the referred customer purchases something on the merchant’s site. Another form of residual affiliate program gets the affiliate paid a percentage every month for as long as the company keeps the referred customer.

With a lot of options available and a lot of ways to earn money, affiliate marketing is undoubtedly the most popular and the easiest way to make money by selling other people’s products online. As to how much money one can get from affiliate marketing actually depends on the affiliate. A dedicated and hardworking affiliate would certainly get more from the program compared to those affiliates who would simply sign up and forget about the program later.

Just Network, and Watch Your Business Grow!

When it comes right down to the topic of how best to grow your online business, there is plenty of conflicting information on the internet. Why? Because everybody wants to make a dollar! Everybody has a program to sell, but few really offer a genuine program that helps YOU sell. What they offer is THEIR formula, not YOUR solution. “It worked for me”, they’ll say. Then, when it doesn’t work for you, they expect you to shoulder the blame. “Well, you didn’t do this right”, or “You didn’t follow the formula”. I don’t have time for those people. Here’s a fact: You already have the resources you need. You do not need to buy into anybody else’s program. For that matter, you don’t even need to buy into mine. All you really need to do is remember one simple word, “network”. Just network. Here are a few ideas to help bring it into focus.

Make Friends, Not Business Partners

This may seem contradictory to what you’ve learned or what you believe, but I’ve found the best people to do business with are the people who have earned my trust, my friends. I do not do business with those who assume I should just trust them. I’m sorry, but they’ve not earned my trust, and my trust can not be bought. Make friends, and do business with your friends. This is one reason why I refuse to throw my website on auto-pilot. I want people to know that there is actually another living, breathing person on the other end, and I want to be accessible to those people who choose to do business with me.

Wish Others Success

When you truly wish others success, you are attracting success. I make it my mantra. “I wish you success. I wish you success. I wish you success.” I truly do wish success to those I choose to do business with, because I choose to do business with those who would wish me the same success. I do business with friends.

Then, help your friends succeed. Trade banners, trade links, and really get into the business of promoting each other. Contribute to each other’s newsletter. Do what right and good for both, and don’t be afraid to take chances. Try something new.

Search For New Opportunities

Look for additional streams of revenue. Find opportunities that do not take you away from your business, but enhance your business. Affiliate programs, drop ship programs, joint ventures, and even MLMs can provide that stream of revenue. But, at the same time, be aware. Be careful. But be willing to follow your instinct. Just remember to make friends, not business partners.

By all means, don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to build a friendship and network with you!

Internet Marketing: 7 Killer Tools You Can Use On A Shoestring Budget Without Having a Website

When most people think of Internet marketing, they think solely of websites. Are they right or wrong? Well both. While websites are a key component of Internet marketing and in many cases are the only Internet marketing tool businesses use, they are not the “be all, end all”. They are not required for Internet marketing. However, I do highly recommend them as they are best suited to sit at the core of your Internet marketing plan, the hub so to speak, but that’s a topic for another conversation.

So here are 7 killer Internet marketing tools that you can implement on a shoestring budget without having to have a website of your own:

1. Email Marketing &ndash When properly implemented, there probably isn’t a quicker, better, and less expensive way to stay in front of your prospects and clients than to leverage the power of email. You can literally touch an unlimited amount of prospects and clients with a single click &ndash how’s that for power?!

2. Blogs &ndash Blogging is a great tool when you would like to step it up a notch and stay in constant contact with your prospects and clients. Some ideas on how to use it might be to post what’s new with you or your business, post informative content as a value-add to your clients, or hold and interactive forum with your clients geared towards understanding how to better serve them.

There are a handful of free or low cost blog hosts out there that really make this process simple (e.g. Blogger and TypePad).

3. Article Marketing &ndash This is a phenomenal approach to bringing notoriety, interest and ultimately leads for many types of businesses. It can be used as a major differentiator or value-add on why someone should buy from you instead of your competitors. Whether your clients are local, regional, national or global — articles are portable and usable in all situations — that’s part of their charm.

4. eZines &ndash Much like blogs and article marketing, eZines are great way to stay in touch with your prospects on a more scheduled basis. Additionally, they are probably the forerunner in helping you develop a list of prospects to market and sell your wares.

5. Affiliate Programs — Get others promoting and selling for you. This tool can become the equivalent of having both a full blown marketing and sales staff that gets paid on performance. They don’t promote and directly lead to a sale for you, they don’t get paid. For the do-it-yourselfers, there are plenty of tools out there to help you set up this type of program. For everyone else, there are excellent service providers out there who can coordinate and manage this process for you (e.g. Clickbank and Commission Junction).

6. Viral Marketing &ndash Again, a great approach for getting others to promote and help create a buzz about you, your business, your products and/or your services. The best, most genuine way to get this started is by creating raving fans out of your existing clients and then helping them help you spread the word.

7. Public Relations &ndash If I tell you I’m the best at what I do, you’ll take it with a grain of salt. Maybe you’ll believe me, maybe you won’t. However, people tend to believe what they read. So if a respected publication tells you that I’m the best at what I do, that usually holds more weight and adds instant credibility to me.

Spend some effort here. Become a resource for the press. You help them and they can significantly help you.

I highly recommend you spend some time with these. Explore how you can implement one, some, or all of these Internet marketing tools to help explode your business.

How To Get A UK Or Any Other Website Online And Have It Making Money

When building a UK or any other website there are many things that you have to consider. These include where you are going to host your website, how much money you have to spend on building and designing your website, how long is it going to take to build your website, how you are going to make money from your website and how are you going to promote your site.

Designing your site

When building a website it is best if you learn how to design your own website by learning simple html, php and mysql programming languages. By doing this it will save you thousands of money in the long run and will benefit you a lot. A good site where you can get started in learning the basics of html is htmlgoodies.com. If you already know the basics of html, php and mysql then a good place to turn to when you have slight problems in some of your php scripts is to ask others that already have experience in php coding. You can do this by using online forums that deal with php and other scripting languages.

Hosting your website

Getting a site hosted in the United Kingdom is just like getting a site hosted elsewhere in the World. The cost of building and getting your website online

The cost of getting a website online depends on how much knowledge you already know about html and other website programming languages. It also depends on a lot of other factors as well. The more you know about how to create a website, how to manage a website and also how to promote a website cheaply online, the less money it will cost you to run your site in the long run, which will then result in more profit for you.

Making money from your website

There are many online opportunities for making money from your website. One way is to use affiliate programs on your website. The best place to look for affiliate programs is by using an affiliate programs directory as these normally list some of the best affiliate programs online and they also normally list them in categories so that you can easily find the right affiliate program for your sites needs. For example, .affiliateseeking.com is an online affiliate programs directory that includes a lot of programs that can be used for US and UK websites.

Although, affiliate programs is a good way of make money from your site, just by adding a lot of affiliate programs to your site won’t earn you very much. You have to try to join the affiliate programs that best fit your site and it’s audience plus you also have to tweak your affiliate programs on your pages so that you can improve your CTR and also your Sales from each affiliate program. There are many of affiliate programs to choose from. You can promote products and services on your site and get paid by CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL or CPS. There are also other programs that pay differently to this, but the ones mentioned above are the main ways that most affiliate programs pay their affiliates.

Promoting a website

Promoting a website is a very crucial part in an online business. If you don’t promote your site at all, or promote it very well, then you won’t last online for long. There are millions of sites online that all are trying to get a slice of the online visitors that use the Internet every day.

The main ways to promote a website is by doing SEO. This is where you optimise your site so that it ranks well within the search engines. You can also promote your site by using some of the following techniques:

1. Exchanging links with other sites that are on the same topic as yours

2. Adding your link to your forum and email signatures

3. Giving away free stuff with your sites link attached to it

4. Doing word of mouth advertising

5. Buying advertising from top sites that receive a lot of traffic

6. Advertising on PPC networks like Adwords and Overture

7. Writing articles on the same topic as your site and add your link to the resource box at the end of the article. Once you have done these things you can then submit your articles to the reprint articles directories so that other webmasters can reprint them on their own websites and in their newsletters. If you have UK related articles then you can get them listed on articles.simplysearch4it.co.uk for free. This site focuses only on UK related articles and other UK content and sites.

Affiliate Advertising For Publishers: Maximising Conversion By Not Compromising Your Content

Affiliate advertising represents a massive opportunity to profit from your website, and with any profitable medium there will be people searching for methods of increasing their own slice of the pie by “playing the system”. Why take risks yourself with a product or service when programs such as Google Adsense enable you to profit from others desire to drive traffic and sales to their companies?

You may be tempted to simply create a website with the express intention of selling advertising space. This is a proven business method after all, free local newspapers and newsletters have been operating for years based entirely on advertising revenue and classifieds, and the majority of the worlds television stations can only stay in business by telling you about their sponsors and advertisers products.

The world wide web offers advertisers an low overheads, an unrivalled market reach all combined with a level of statistical feedback that traditional non-interactive media can only dream of. This makes online business extremely attractive but also extremely competitive. Advertisers need to find ways of raising awareness of their products and services against global competition. Maximising penetration in such a massive arena would take more resources than most companies can muster. Enter the affiliate marketeers.

You, as a website publisher become an affiliate by agreeing with companies that you will promote their product on your website. In return the advertisers will pay you for bringing traffic or sales to their website. The more traffic or converted sales you bring the more you will earn for your efforts. By the same measure the more traffic you bring to your own web pages the more you potentially stand to earn from your affiliates.

At this point many affiliate marketeers will disengage their brain, concentrating their efforts on bringing web surfers to their site in order to push them on to their affiliates. Often the webmasters of these sites will be well versed in search engine technology, understanding the core concepts of optimised site design, keyword targetting, external linking and content generation that will increase the “relevance” of their page in the indexes of Google, Yahoo and MSN. It is often the final, and tellingly the most time consuming of these techniques that will merit the least attention in the minds of professional web marketeers.

Often an amount of statistical analysis will take place to identify search trends and high paying affiliate industries that will potentially have the highest payout. A site will then be designed with search engine optimisation at the forefront, simple coding practices that will enable an algorithm to make a good attempt at cataloging the subject matter of the page and relate it to the identified keywords. Search engine experts are also well aware that sites which are updated frequently are treated as “more relevant” in the search engine index. This is a simple equation, if you are searching for information on MP3 players you want to be presented with content telling you about the features of the latest iPod and reviewing the new competing models. You aren’t interested in reviews of a 5 year old device with the ergonomics and storage capacity of a housebrick.

In their rush for content a number of affiliate marketeers will turn to external sources, be it in the form of user generated content or “article directories”. Both can be useful tools for time-challenged webmasters, and particularly in the case of article directories which take the form of free to publish text on almost any subject imaginable. Simply search for an article on your particular subject of choice, paste it into you template, upload it to your site and wait for the search engines to pick it up. Hey presto you are instantly a more relevant site and bumping yourself up the Google results while still leaving yourself time to spend your hard earned affiliate money at the pub.

So far so good but don’t forget the wisdom of your parents generation, “buyer beware” and “you get what you pay for”. Well if you are paying nothing more than a tiny fraction of your internet bill for these articles then you might want to consider the motives of the author of that lovely keyword rich article you just found.

The fact is there are many valuable articles in directories such as EZineArticles and ZapContent.com, but the mistake many webmasters make in their rush for search engine optimised content it that they don’t read, and I mean really read the text that they are merrily pasting into their site. Before hitting ctrl-c ask yourself “does this content really benefit my readers”. The chances are the best content from these services will find itself syndicated across a number of sites, or the information will be republished in differing forms. As people use their search engines to find information they will look at a number of websites and will soon realise which content has been regurgitated ad-nausium. Net result is if their first impression of your site is one that offers the same old information they won’t bother coming back.

Even worse, a number of prolific authors have an ulterior motive. They are simply trying to boost their own search relevance by increasing the number of backlinks to their own websites. If an article you find is borderline check the authors history. If they have submitted hundreds of pages of almost identical content stuffed to the gills with the same keywords the chances are they are simply link-spamming. They don’t care if you publish their content or not, each page in the directory linking back to their website in order to boost their page rank. Would your readers really be interested in such sloppy content? I’m sure mine wouldn’t.

This takes us neatly onto the key message. Why do people return to a website and hopefully trust their sponsors? Because the site has personality, your readers should be able to identify with your informational pages, hopefully they will book mark your page, even tell others to read it. Repeat visitors are far more likely to finally visit your sponsors than those who find your page once and then head back to their search engine of choice. By all means use relevant articles but never compromise your content by relying too much on third party content.

But aside from the human element there is a far more serious reason for ensuring your content is the best, and most original it can be and that is the nature of search engines. Companies such as Google know that their market position is based entirely on trust in their organic results. Expect their search algorithms in future to be tweaked against certain types of syndicated content in order to give the (perceived) best service to their searchers. Spending time now on good quality, original and easily updated content could save you time in the long run as you avoid spending time chasing your page rankings against ever more sophisticated relevance algorithms.
