What Is A Mini WebSite?

December 25, 2009 - 10:58 pm

A mini website is a site which is devoted to selling one and only one product. Either software or an ebook. You have probably seen these sites all over the internet.

They consist of a one page sales letter and a thank you page.

The sales letter is packed full of information to tell your potential customer about all the benefits of the product you are offering. This page is usually quite long as it is your one opportunity to sell your product. The sales page will have all the reasons your customer needs the product you are selling. It will also tell what the product does or how it is used with examples to emphasize the fact that your customer can’t do without it. Sometimes there will be some testimonials from satisfied customers and some bonuses for a prompt purchase. At the end of the page, the customer will have the opportunity to purchase the product with a command for them to order now!

Once they have made their purchase, they are sent to the thank you page which has the download link for their purchase. It is important to add the download link for the purchased product in a very prominent place near the top of the page. No one wants to search for the item they have already paid for.

This thank you page should be considered a second sales page.

The great thing about this thank-you page is that you know the people reading it will buy from you. They already have! It has been proven that once a person buys something from you, they are more likely to buy more products from you if you keep offering a good product at a good price. So while you have them there, you will offer another product that compliments the already purchased product. You can string a series of related mini sites together and get several sales from the same person all at once. Don’t miss this opportunity to get another sale.

Your thank you page is a good place for you to offer a free gift or a unannounced bonus. All the visitor has to do to get your freebie is fill out a form with their name and email address. Almost everyone will take you up on the free offer and you have just collected their information to send them even more offers.

The thank-you page is also a great place to add your Google AdSense ads. After the customer has downloaded their purchased product, filled out the form for your free offer and looked at, and hopefully bought, the other offers you have available, they are still on your thank you page. Place your Google AdSense ads at the bottom of this page. The next logical choice for them is to click a Google Ad or close the window. Most people will click on an ad.

So you have your sale, their name and email address for future sales, possibly a second or third sale and a little extra cash from your Google ads.

The beauty of this whole operation is you don’t have to be present to make sales or ship goods. It is all done electronically. Once you get traffic to your mini site, it will do all the work for you. It will sell the product, collect the money, ’ship’ the item, make your second sales pitch, and collect the customer information. You make 100% profit from the sale.

You check your email every once in a while and find you have made more money!

Optimizing these mini sites for the search engines is a breeze. You only have one page to optimize. What could be easier?

PLUS… Nothing to join. You don’t have to sign up for a bunch of affiliate programs and deal with wetting up the affiliate links. You own the products you are selling. You don’t share your profits with anyone. 100% of the money from your sales goes right into your pocket!

Where do you get these mini websites?

You can create your own ebooks or software and sell them or you can buy resell rights products. When you buy a product that offers resell rights, you now have the right to sell this product and keep all the profits. Just like if you made the product yourself.

Once you have your product, you only have to write the sales page and the thank you page and you are in business.

The beauty in these Mini WebSites is that you can set them up, optimize them and then just let them work for you. It’s like having a whole staff of sales people working for your 24 hours a day and you don’t even have to pay them.

Write Positive Testimonials For Other Websites And See Traffic Increase On Yours

November 26, 2009 - 8:46 pm

Increasing traffic on your website is a smart thing to do. When trying to build a successful site, traffic increases are one thing to focus on. While there are several ways to increase traffic, it is most useful to utilize several methods to do so. Writing positive testimonials for other websites and including them on your website is a great thing to do. Not only is it a lovely way to give respect to sites you admire or utilize often, but it is also a great way to see traffic increase on yours.

When you use other website links and names in your website, you will be attracting their traffic as well. This occurs mostly due to search engine requests. When someone types in the website name used in your testimonial, to try to gain access to their site, it is likely your site will come up as well since you included their website name in your site content. You can use their name on your site as a portal of sorts. They will in turn visit your site and mostly likely look around a bit before going on to the site they intended to visit. This may seem a little tricky, but it really is a great way to get more traffic on your site. This is especially true if you utilize popular website names in your testimonials. If you include a positive testimonial for a website that gets a large amount of traffic each day, it is only logical you will receive some of that traffic due to search engine requests.

After deciding to write positive testimonials for other websites and see traffic increase on yours, you will need to choose which sites are best for the task. Think about using sites that are highly used, but perhaps not too highly advertised. It can be challenging to get the right mix. The idea is to find sites that are often requested on search engines. Sites that are highly advertised are usually easy to remember and web users will not use search engines to get to them. Sites that may contain tricky names, but are highly used may be better options because people are more likely to use search engines to get to them. Try adding different sites each month and research the sites that seem to bring more traffic to your site.

After choosing the sites, you will need to determine exactly what to say. Never write a testimonial before visiting the site yourself. You certainly don’t want to write positive testimonials about horrible sites, because they will only make your site look bad to viewers. Make sure you agree with everything that the site represents. Always keep the testimonials positive and encouraging. You can write a synopsis of the site, review its services, review its customer service, or simply outline the business as a whole. No matter what you do, be sure to mention the website address as many times as possible in the testimonial. The more you mention the complete address, the more likely your site will pop up when someone does a search for that particular site on a search engine.

After completing the testimonial, be sure that the site’s address shows up in a different color than the rest of the text. You want to draw people into your site and if they are trying to get to another site, they need to see that your site offers a link to get there. They may bookmark the page and therefore use your site as a portal each time they want to get to the other site. This is great for your traffic statistics. Even if they don’t give your site a good look over the first few times they visit, it is likely they eventually will. If you make money off of each visitor to your site, then you likely don’t care whether he or she looks around or not, because you will collect just because they visit your site to get to the other site.

Writing positive testimonials for other websites is the perfect way to draw in more visitors to your site. Your website traffic will increase because of it and it won’t cost you anything but a little time to get it done. This is an inexpensive and effective way to help your site along. The more traffic your site receives, the better it will succeed. Trying methods such as this is a great way to do all you can do to make the success of your website a reality.

The Winner

February 21, 2009 - 3:37 pm

Jennifer, a young woman in her twenties, works over 15 hours a day to provide for her 2 children. As a single mother, she struggles everyday trying to make ends meet and provide for her children. But after working so many long hours, she never seems to get out of the rat race. One bill after another torments her night and day, and it’s really stressing her out. She never spends enough time with her children and it is tearing her up on the inside. So one day, she decides to start an online business selling custom made jewelry, which is one of her specialties. Her goal is to quit her job within 6 months, but she doesn‘t have any money to spend on marketing her website. So what should she do in order to get this done without spending any money at all in advertising?

Well, since Jennifer already invested over $700 for a web designer to design her website, all she needs to do right now is focus on advertising. She has no money to spend, so all the advertising must be free.

And when venturing into free online advertising methods, you must first realize that even though no money is spent, a lot of time must be invested instead.

Now there is a saying that, “Time is money.”

This is very true, especially when you are trying to start an online business with no advertising costs. The time you should invest, must be proportional to the money you would invest if you had any.

Also, the more time you invest in building your business, the more money you will make.

MORE TIME = MORE MONEY

Therefore, Jennifer must first come into the realization that she will have to devote at least 3 hours a day to her online business. This will give her only 6 hours of sleep. But she is determined to do this for the next 6 months in order to change the direction of her life.

Now what should she do?

Well, when starting an online business, she needs to make sure that she is constantly building up her internet marketing assets. Now an internet marketing asset, in my opinion, is anything that will potentially place money in your pocket, and sustain continual business growth. When most people start their internet business, they make the error of spending most of their time building only one major internet marketing asset. In the long run, the marketer who does this will experience success. But since Jennifer is trying to leave her job in 6 months, she must build multiple internet marketing assets at the same time.

Now there are currently 4 critical internet marketing assets that she must continually build upon in the next 6 months.

These assets are:

1. Content

2. Links to her website

3. Email List of Subscribers

4. Partners

So based off of what we discussed, Jennifer should spend the majority of her time building each of these 4 critical internet marketing assets in the next 6 months since she doesn’t have any money to spend on advertising.

She must also learn how to synergize all of these assets for the sol purpose of accelerating the growth of her online business. I call this the “Law Of Synergized Marketing” and I will explain this in my next article.

But before I end, I want to leave you with this one final closing point:

If you want to build a successful business on a zero budget, you must spend a lot of time building up each of these internet marketing assets. It is imperative that you do this. The more time you spend on building each of these assets, the more money you will make. The good part of all of this is that you will not have to spend any money at all and still be able to earn a very substantial income.

The Secret To Online Success

February 4, 2009 - 9:46 am

When most people begin any kind of business they seem to have a lot of expectations. They think the money will come rolling the moment they place their adds, get a webpage, or spend on advertising and a promotion campaign, etc. If you have a business you pretty much can tell that that is not necessarily the case. However, this particular article I am going to dedicate it to Internet business. I figure, you are online reading this article right now, maybe you may want to learn a little bit more about how to sell your products or services online.

By the way, don’t think because you are a construction worker for example, that the internet could not be of use to you. You get a little creative and you’ll be surprise with the ideas that can come about that could help you generate income online. But let’s continue with the article shall we?

I am not going to deny the fact that a lot of profit can be generated in short periods of time. It has happened in the past and will keep happening in the future. There is an old saying, “There’s nothing more powerful than an idea who’s time has come!”

In other words, you can have a very lucrative idea, but the market is not ready for it, therefore you may end up loosing your investment just to find out months later that that very same idea becomes a huge success for someone else. Basically, being at the right place at the right time certainly helps. And you will ALWAYS be at the right place and the right time if you listen to your heart. To the guiding Spirit within.

Then off course, there is the other side of the coin. Having a great idea, being at the right place at the right time, but not being able to capitalize on it. Well, this is what this article is going to address. We are going to explore the reasons why people buy! And I am going to dissect each topic briefly so you can have a much deeper understanding as to how all of the following pieces of the puzzle fit together.

First, I am going to address the importance of the word VALUE. When you have something to offer where there is an open market for it, and more than likely there is a demand for your product, your efforts revolve around advertising. If what you are advertising is being offered by other businesses, then you have what is called competition. That being the case, you have to be able to create an urgency for people to buy from you, otherwise you could loose your potential customers to your competition, not because their’s are necessarily better. But because of the fact that not everyone buys on the first visit. Sometimes customers need a little bit of time before they make a decision. So if you already exposed them to what you have to offer and later on they see the same product on someone else’s site, they may be ready at that moment to purchase. They may end up ordering from someone else that product or service which you took the time to educate them on the first place.

Since internet surfers are what it’s called impulse buyers, you got to be prepared so that when a potential customer visits your site, she/he is ready to make the decision at that moment!

If you are advertising a video tape that teaches people how to market products online, you need to figure out ways to increase the “VALUE” of what you have to offer. You need to answer questions such as;

* Why is your video better than the rest?

* What is in your video that you feel would make someone say, “I want this!”

* What are they gaining from ordering?

Since the beginning of time, marketing is all about figuring out ways to sell people on the idea that if they acquire whatever is you have to offer, they will “gain” something from it. If you have been subscribed to few newsletters and have read marketing articles, they summarize what I have just said in one word. BENEFITS. If from the very beginning you can point out what is it that your visitors will gain from your product or services, you increase dramatically the value of your product.

This is not the only way to add value to your product. But this is the best way to establish rapport and generate interest. So you must always begin by letting them know how your product or service is going to make them feel, or improve their life, or help them win, etc.

Once you have been able to add value to your product or service, honesty, integrity and credibility play a very important role. Maybe right at the moment of purchase, depending on how much your asking price is, they may wonder, “how do I know this person knows what she’s talking about?”

So how do you add integrity? If you are an expert on something, can you tell me about your experience? Do you walk your talk? Does your site reflects what you talk about? For example, don’t go telling me how using frames and JAVA language can work against search engine placements and how bad they are for me, meanwhile, your site uses both, JAVA and frames. To me it means one of two things, you don’t know what you are talking about and therefore just passing along what others have told you, or there is something you know that you are not telling me.

Does that mean that if you do not have a great resume people wont buy from you? Absolutely NOT! Your resume could be your website. Here is what I mean, if someone visits your site and you don’t have a degree as a nutritionist, but your site is filled with very convincing articles and valuable information that shows that you know what you are talking about, that is enough to add credibility.

Let me take it one step further, if you create a very powerful sales letter, you can have your visitor so engaged in the information that she/he wont even bother to figure who you are, or what you do. However, to pull that off, you must offer a product that has great value, and if possible, a money back guaranteed!

All you need to do is to come from a place of honesty and service, and as long as you can show credible ways in which your product will benefit your market, you should be able to sell your product(s) and/or service(s) online.

So you have something of value and you have been able to gain credibility. What can you do to add more substance to your product or service?

Let’s say you are giving a speech and want to quote an article regarding your subject matter which you have written on a piece of paper, if you hold the paper and read the words from it, it holds more credibility than if you were merely saying the words. Why that is? I don’t know. But that is just one of those interesting mysteries we come across every once in awhile.

So by having someone saying something positive about your product or service, it helps add credibility which in turn helps also increase the value of what you are offering.

What we have done so far is, we have strategically created leverage. We have given a solid foundation as to why people not only should, but must obtain whatever it is you are offering. Assuming that you are placing all these strategies in the RIGHT ORDER, positive results should be way within your reach.

So what makes people buy is:

* Value-Benefits (What am I gaining from this.)

* Value-Honesty (How do I know this is true.)

* Value-Endorsements (What others have to say about this.)

Notice that I used the word “value” along with every example because value is what people consider before obtaining anything. Benefits, honesty and integrity as well as endorsements, even when each play a role in itself, they all have once thing in common. They “add value” to your product.

Internet Money

January 28, 2009 - 4:30 pm

The internet is unbelievable as a business environment. The whole Google Adsense and Adwords thing, with Pay-per-click and what not…well all of this is making people very rich. Okay, not everyone. But you can generate a substantial second income from this. Put in more time, and you can definitely quit your day job (if you have one…no assumptions here). To be honest, it isn’t that complicated. It takes a little work to get started but, once you can grasp the concepts, you are set. To this end…I have gone through a large number of internet sites that have information on this. There are a few resources that I believe are worthy of your time. I’ll say why below.

The marketing on most schemes out there is truly atrocious. Some people will be put off by it; the other group will fall for it. I am going to try to go beyond that. It can be hard to see beyond what is staring you blindly in the face (usually in great big red letters). Claims of millions and, nowadays, Paypal account statements with large transfers shown. Basically, these people are trying to sell their products. They have read their own manuals. They know about marketing, about raising hopes in people and about presenting “evidence” of the merits of their products. They exaggerate in some instances; leave out bits that have to do with your own actions. Everybody seems to do this online; however, some of these resources do have real merit, which is why I mention them here.

In my experience, it’s the little things that make a difference. You might have everything done properly, but if your introduction is missing the right punch, then you don’t get any sales. The details are important. They can be, and are usually the difference between getting a lot of money and not getting a lot of money. I feel like it’s those that cover these fine points that are the ones you want.

“I am better than you, I am a jerk etc, etc” one proclaims on his website. You can see the angle he’s going for here. It works though. He’s even had an infomercial done. This means people are buying his product. This must mean that his tips work…at least for some people. That’s really all that matters. This one is guide to basically every effective way of making money online, like a lot of others. What makes it really good is that he cuts out a lot of fluff and lays it down like it is. For me, the real clincher is the forum on the website. There are loads of people who are trying this stuff out. They like to talk about their experiences. This means you can see where mistakes have been made and where progress has been made. That’s value. People can repeatedly come back for help and advice. Not too many schemes have something like that in place.

The people factor is really important. This sort of thing has been around long enough for others to have tried it. Find out what it’s been like for them. Get a second opinion. Forums are a good place. I know my eyes still ache from all the forums I have gone through. It might not clear up all your doubts, but it will certainly eliminate some bad choices.

That brings us to the main point. It really is down to you to follow through. Whichever one you go for, it could take some time for you to start to see real results. You have to have the drive and fortitude to see it to the end. The investment is not too great, particularly in the context of the potential rewards. How brave are you?

There’s a lot of stuff on making money on the internet. You have to be careful. Most people are just looking to make a buck, but if you can just sift out the dodgy ones, there really is a lot to be gained from the right sources.

Good luck.

The First Commandment of Internet Marketing

January 14, 2009 - 9:22 pm

Autoresponders are one of my favorites tools. I used to do business in the traditional word( I owned a pizzeria, for delivery only, like pizza hut department, but much butter than pizza hut in France),

and the process of delivery, was after the preparation itself, the core of the business.

But that was to much work to handle for a single man, so I had a team ready to deliver at anytime.

Why I love so much auto responders?

Your business is on autopilot.

Once averything is setup properly, you can forget it, and focus on a second business.

Will call that: Set and Forget technology.

What I have learned from one of my teachers in Internet Marketing is that you definitively need an autoresponder if you want to success in internet business.

You don’ t know what is an auto responder?

Aren’t you tired of taking the time to manually follow up

with every single one of your potential customers? Keeping

track of names, e-mail addresses, and what marketing

information you’ve sent to which lead is exhausting, isn’t

it?

Here it is:

The Auto responder does all of that “cyber-paperwork” for you. You simply set the system up, and it runs completely independently: Your leads ask you for information through a form on your web site or an email response to your ad, and your auto responder at any time of day or night, and the send this information to them - immediately.

You can even set the system up to address each of your leads by name. Also, date variables mean you can offer each new lead a time sensitive offer.

It has been proven that a prospect must see your marketing message at least 7 times before deciding to buy from you.

But, contacting every single one of your leads manually at least 7 times, gets very complicated. The process will soon take hours - even days!

So you understand now what is your benefit with that utility?

-You put your business on autopilot, and increase your sales by 400%!

-You spend more time with your family.

-You save time, reduce stress, build customer loyalty, increase conversion ratios, and make more money.

- and many more

You will find different autoresponders programs on the web: some are free, but you are able to upgrade to a paid member later.

For instance, you will find:

Free Autoresponder services that offers unlimited Autoresponders, no maximum mail lengths, but they ad a small ad at the top of your message, all that can be removed if you upgrade, with amazing features.

Also:

Paid Autoresponder with templates for your newsletter, training video…you can try it for free the first month in some cases.

If for any reason you are not satisfied you will get a refund.

And you will also find some autoresponders which

work as ad exchanges for their suscribers

these are free Autoresponder with an interesting twist, as it works like an exchange service:At the top of your message, there is a little advertisement, and in turn, your advertisement will appear at the top of messages send out by the other subscribers.

The 15 Online Businesses that you can start today for big profits.

December 30, 2008 - 9:52 pm

Here you can find 15 businesses that you can start fast. These businesses are profitable and they are in high demand. You could expect to receive good profits from most of them. The drawback is that there is too much competition for the majority of these businesses. Anyway, I will briefly describe them here and show you how you can also claim a piece of the profits from the online business world.

1. Sell information.

People are starving for information nowadays. Information could be anything that communicates a message. Art is a kind of information, images, files, software, games, books and e-books are information too.

You can create your own products or have other people do it for you. Either way, you will have to invest some time and money. If you want to have the products created for you, then you can outsource the projects to others even to people in other countries. This is a good technique that a lot of companies are using today.

Selling information is very profitable because the costs of reproducing the products you sell are next to nothing. Once you create the first product you can create as many copies as you need virtually at no cost. The time required to distribute the products to your clients is next to zero too. Finally the shipping costs often disappear on the Online business world. This is definitely a profitable business.

2. Become an affiliate.

If you don’t want to create anything you can sell what others create. Your only duty will be to advertise. Advertising is not easy, specially in such a competitive arena that is affiliate marketing. On the other hand, if you have the patience and discipline to learn how the super affiliates make it, then it can be really worthy the time spent on this venture.

Some top affiliates make tens of thousands per month from this business alone. There are just so many companies out there that want you to promote their products. This is one of the reasons why some new affiliates get lost. How can you know which companies are trustworthy and which ones are not?

Simple. Stay with the companies that pay you high commissions like 50% to 75% per sale and which conversion ratios are fairly high. For example, if a company pays you 65% commission to sell their product and for every 100 people that see the product 2 - 3 purchase it, then you may consider promoting the product.

Also expect to receive at least $20 per sale. I wouldn’t advertise a product if I can not get at least $20 for every sale. Do the math. Let’s say that you get paid $25 per sale. Your advertising costs are $5 per 100 people. If on average 2 out of 100 purchase the product, then you will get a huge return on investment.

Of course these are hypothetical figures. The real world is a little bit different. To find these products may not be that easy. But that’s the basic idea of how starting an affiliate business works.

3. Sell advertising space.

This is another good idea. The main thing you will need is a website with a lot of real good quality traffic. You can get truck loads of cheap traffic from autosurf programs and other sources. You can trick some advertisers but most of them won’t stay with you after their test spend.

That’s why it is better to do it right from the beginning. This business can be profitable but you definitely need reasonable quantities of quality traffic everyday. You can do this by giving away good quality content both on your website as well as other places.

For example you can write articles and publish them on article banks or e-zines. You can write a short e-book and offer it for free to your visitors on the home page. You can write programs reviews. You can set up a forum on your website and let you visitors interact with each other.

Anything that could provide a service or that can enhance the experience of your visitors can be a good source of traffic. The good thing about it is that most of those visitors will come back to your site from time to time and these techniques are free. If your website offers good content to your clients, you won’t need to pay to get visitors. They will come to you for free.

4. Trade.

Trading is very risky, that’s why it can be very profitable too. It is like they say: “no risk, no reward.” You should never trade or invest the money that you cannot afford to lose, but if you have some spare capital, this can be another source of income.

Most online brokers today will allow you to open an account with them with very little initial investment. You can open an account with as little as $300 to $1,000. Also there are many markets that you can trade in. You can trade currencies at Forex. You can trade stock shares at the different exchanges through the online brokers. You can trade commodities at the Futures market. You can trade options and many other derivatives.

The are many choices for those who want to trade for a living. Just a cautious note here. Trading is not as easy as many people want you to believe it is. It takes time to master any market including the financial markets. It is better to trade on paper for a while before you compromise your real capital. Some people become rich trading, but 90% of the traders fail.

5. High Yield Investment Programs.

There are many opportunities on the Internet to invest in programs which promise high rates of return in a short period of time. Most of them claim to be private investor clubs and they say that they get most of their profits from financial trading and investing.

Some of these companies seem legitimate but many are pure scams. Discretion is recommended to anyone who chooses to invest on these programs. Some offers are so unbelievable that they are simply that: unbelievable. Remember that “if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.”

When you visit the forums you can read how many people lose money on these programs while others claim that they paid for their vacations or something else with the money they got from one of these programs.

Many high yield investment programs are short lived. They disappear quickly ripping off many investors. Others tend to be more stable. Typically I have seen that those companies which offer more reasonable returns like 1% - 2% profits daily tend to be more reliable and last longer.

Anyway, the reward on this investment can be big, so the risk is also big. Discretion is recommended. Avoid anything that sounds like a game, pyramid or gambling.

6. Online Auctions.

Online auctions can be a good source of revenues. You can sell virtually anything on these auctions. Who doesn’t know about e-Bay? Almost everyone on the civilized world knows about it. E-Bay is not the only one though. Stormpay is a good player too and there are many others.

The idea is to get good quality products at the lowest possible prices. You can achieve this by getting to know the best wholesalers for the products you are trying to sell.

If you can buy bellow wholesale price and then sell the items individually you may realize a nice monthly profit by doing that. Some people’s main source of income are online auctions and they make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. Another way to make money with online auctions is to be a dropshipper, which I explain bellow.

7. Be a dropshipper.

When you are a dropshipper you don’t need to buy the products that you are selling. This eliminates some of your risks. You just make the presentation for the products whether on online auctions websites or your own websites and wait for somebody to purchase the products.

Once they send you the payment you transfer the order to the distributor who package and send the product to the buyer. Then you get paid a portion of the sale price. Some individuals prefer this because they don’t have to deal with the merchandise nor the clients and still they get handsome profits from this business.

8. Multi-Level Marketing.

When you join a multi-level marketing company you can sell other people products like with affiliate marketing and recruit others to do the same. You then get paid for every sale that your sales team generate.

You can do all of this over the Internet without having to meet people personally. The beauty of this business is the residual income that it can generate for you. If you train your sales people well and they do the same with their sales team your profits multiply over time.

This may sound like a pyramid but it is not. Genuine multi-level companies won’t charge you to join their program. They are interested in your advertising efforts not in your money. Pyramids charge you to join, usually a large amount and the only way for you to make more money is to pull more people into the scheme.

With multi-level marketing you can make money even if you do not invest anything on the company. You make money by selling their products as well as training other people to sell the products. The people that you train do not have to pay anything to join the company either. They are just sales people not investors.

9. Start a consultancy business.

If you have knowledge and expertise about a particular topic, you can start a consultancy business online and help others. You can offer your knowledge and advice for a fee.

You can do this directly from your own website or your website can be used as an advertising tool. Then you refer your visitors to other media you can use to run your consultancy business like your telephone or any meetings that you organize and they can attend.

10. Exchange e-currencies.

There are different e-currencies on the Internet today. Sometimes somebody needs to exchange one kind of e-currency for another. For example, they may have e-gold and they may need e-bullion.

So, when they want to exchange money they go to online money exchangers and exchange the money. The transactions occur mostly through the exchangers websites, sometimes manually and sometimes automatic.

This is a lucrative business. If you become an exchanger you get paid a small fee for the transaction. It could be for example 3% of the exchange amount. So, if someone has $1,000 in e-gold and they want e-bullion, then you charge three percent of the e-gold you are receiving ($30) plus the amount that e-gold charges you to receive the funds. That’s your profit $30. Then you send them the e-bullion.

How it is usually done is that once they send you the e-gold you subtract the fee from the e-bullion that you send them. So, they receive less in e-bullion than what they send you in e-gold.

This may not look as much money to you. But if you have several hundreds of transactions per day, you can make serious money this way. The drawback is that you need funds to do the exchanges. You may also need to find out what are the rules and regulations about this business in your local jurisdiction. But I certainly believe that this can be another good source of revenues on the Internet.

11. Autosurf for profits.

Autosurf programs has spread all over the Internet lately. The idea is as follows. You pay a company some money to receive website visitors. The company send you visitors and give you the opportunity to surf other members websites as well. If you surf other members websites you can get paid a percentage of the amount you paid on a predetermined time frame, let’s say weekly.

For example, you pay the company $100. The company promises to pay you back 15% weekly if you surf 15 websites per day. Then you click on a link every day and the websites rotate on your browser for a set amount of time (e.g.: 15 seconds). Then you close your browser and go do something else. At the end of that week you will have $115 on your account. The more you invest the more you make.

Many autosurf programs are scams. They do not provide a legitimate service to their users. Others are very effective. I specially like the ones that require the users to manually surf the websites. This way I make sure that a real visitor is visiting my pages and not a machine.

12. Start an affiliates network company.

If you start an affiliate network company you will be the intermediary between the merchants and the affiliates. You can also offer the merchants a payment processing system and allow them to use that tool to collect payments from their clients.

Your main focus on this business is not to create products nor to advertise products. You mostly act like a bank. The merchant join your company to sell products using your services and to get affiliates. The affiliates join to be able to sell the products on the program and receive commissions. The merchants offer the commissions they are willing to pay and take care of their customers.

You collect the payments from the merchants’ clients and send payments to the merchants and affiliates on a predetermined time frame. You charge a fee for your services.

That’s basically it. That’s the basic idea of how this business works. Of course, it is not that easy in real life. You will face competition, but the good thing about it is that you don’t have to create the products and you don’t have to advertise them either. You act like the bank and intermediary between affiliates and merchants.

14. Become an e-books wholesaler.

You can also purchase e-books in wholesale quantities and sell them all over the Internet. A package of e-books may cost you a few dollars and you can sell them over and over again.

Some people write e-books and offer master resale rights on those books. This means that not only you can resell the books but also let your clients sell them to their clients and on and on. The reason some authors do this is because they want to get maximum exposure for other products that they are selling or for the affiliate links that they included within those e-books.

Then you can get a package of those e-books and software with master resell rights and sell it to other people. This way you do not have to create your own products. You make a small investment once and profit many times.

15. Sell hosting and memberships.

This business can provide residual income for you. When you sell hosting you are basically selling a space on a server to webmasters. This provides a good source of revenues because many webmasters stay subscribed with the same hosting company for many months or years.

They pay a monthly fee and as long as they stay subscribed you keep receiving profits. The same happens with membership sites like dating websites. You don’t need many subscribers to be profitable. This business is different to others for the reasons that I will explain bellow.

If you write an e-book and try to sell it to others, you will sell that e-book once to one customer. That customer may never purchase anything else from you again. If you sell a membership to somebody that person will give you money on a recurring basis. You will sell the same product to the same person several times.

This provide a source of residual income in which your money grows exponentially over time. Let’s say that you have 1,000 subscribers and they pay you on average $5 each per month for your subscription. If you don’t sell further subscriptions you will still receive on average $5,000 per month.

On the other hand, if you market single sale products you need to keep selling the same amount of products every month to new clients if you want to keep receiving the same amount of monthly profits. That’s why residual income is so important. A web hosting or paid subscriptions business offer a great opportunity to receive monthly residual income.

Passion, Purpose & Profits

September 25, 2008 - 9:58 am

Passion and purpose are the common denominators shared by the happiest, wealthiest and most successful people on this planet.

Bill Gates is passionate about making health care available around the world.

Oprah Winfrey is passionate about making education available around the world.

Martin Luther King was passionate about making freedom available around the world.

These lasting legacies of clinics, schools and human rights stem from the vision of people just like you and me. What sets them apart from most of us is the clarity and power of their passion and purpose. These successful people knew what they wanted to accomplish and felt passionate about making a difference in the world. They grew their purpose as their successes grew. They created the momentum required to change the world by focusing and acting daily on what they could uniquely offer. Businessman, TV celebrity and preacher, they had their eye on a bigger prize, that would change the lives of many.

What is your passion and purpose?

Perhaps you’ve been sidetracked by the efforts and distractions of daily life in the 21st century. Getting through the day, acquiring homes and cars, preparing for our next vacation or retirement, checking e-mail and watching TV can fill our hours. When we fill our days with these efforts and distractions it is easy to feel dissatisfied. This feeling that something is missing from our lives is a gentle nudge that there is more to experience.

Once we have secured safety and stability for our loved ones and ourselves it is time to address that place in our being that wants to be satisfied through purpose, which gives meaning to our lives. We don’t have to create world peace, end crippling disease, or educate the continent of Africa for our interests to have value.

What do you most enjoy thinking about? What do you do for pleasure? What were your passions as a kid? What makes you lose track of time and feel invigorated by when you are involved? What we are most passionate about points directly to our unique purpose in life.

Passion and purpose do not need to be global to be powerful, but to be profitable; they must contribute to the experience of others.

David is passionate about connecting and relating to people. He’s making big profits in real estate. People are enthusiastic about doing business with him and referring their friends to him because they know he is passionate about their successful participation in the American dream. His simple website makes it easy for prospects to get to know him and for him to educate his clients.

Kathleen and Mark are passionate about their art. They are gaining profitable momentum as they apply their craft to making beautiful bonsai pots for the thousands of people worldwide that are passionate about the art of growing miniature trees. A simple website and a smart marketing blueprint allows them the freedom to pursue their art instead of a paycheck.

Peg is a techie and always has been. She enjoys tinkering and has given it purpose. She maintains my computers and dozens of others from hundreds of miles away. She gets satisfaction and she profits from an interest in knowing how things work. Having a website lets people all over North America take advantage of her remote services.

Turning Passion and Purpose Into Profit

Whether your joy comes from serving people, creating art or applying technical information, you can turn your interests into your work by recognizing that by sharing it you can improve the quality of living for yourself and others.

You can turn your purpose into profit by sharing it worldwide. There may not be many local people interested in model trains, carnival secrets, or the fine art of teaching your dog to count to ten, but with the ability to reach out and market to the world, there are sure to be others who share in or would benefit from your interests and knowledge.

Imagine your daily delights if you were making money doing what you love! Pick your own hours, pick your location, pick your passion. There has never been a time before where you could instantly reach around the world and connect with others so easily. There has never before been such an opportunity to build a business out of thin air and create a connection worldwide with others who want to know what you know.

It takes a little courage, a little know how and a desire to focus your time and energy on what is important to you. Imagine what your life would feel like if you were making a prosperous livelihood doing what you love. Is now the time to take action?

Online Business - Managing Your Life When You Work From Home (Part 1 of 10)

September 8, 2008 - 6:33 pm

Now that my system is set up, all I have to do is check that my affiliate partners are sending me cash, suggest the odd joint venture to a partner, and stay in touch with my customers. I rarely spend more than three hours in front of my computer each day.

But it wasn’t always like that. It took a lot of effort and a lot of work to get into the position I’m in now. When I first started, it was a bit of a struggle to organize myself. My first website took ages to launch and while the other ones went up quickly, my family went days without seeing me.

Let’s be frank, if you don’t set up your business properly right at the beginning, you’re going to make your life much harder&ndashand your income much lower.

The problem is that until now, you’ve always thought of your home as a place to relax and the office as a place to focus and work. Now you’re going to have to focus at home&ndashand that’s not an easy shift to make. You need to keep the same rhythm (without stopping to watch your favorite daytime soap!) and the same kind of discipline you had when you had to commute every morning.

The first thing to do is to give yourself an office. I’m not talking about a laptop on the coffee table or a corner in the library; I mean a proper room with a door you can close and a desk full of goodies: from a computer with broadband to a place to put your safety clips. If you don’t have a spare room to start with, then use your bedroom. But if you’re serious, think about finding an office once your business gets running.

The next thing you’re going to need is a schedule&ndasha realistic one. This is one of the greatest challenges when you begin working for yourself. At the end of each day, I’d make a list of all the tasks I was going to do the next day. If I got half of them done, I was lucky. I spent weeks frustrated and grumpy.

Once you get a feel for how long each task takes you, whether it’s approving a new site design, planning a new marketing program or answering customers’ emails, set yourself a timetable and keep to it. Turn off the radio, shut the office door and get to work! And at the same time, don’t get annoyed if the day ends before your work does.
