What Is Private Label Rights and Why Do People Use It?

December 23, 2009 - 9:37 pm

Since the existence of the Internet, business had been far better than before. This is because the Internet provides more effective means of distributing information about the products and the business all at the same time to the world in a matter of seconds.

For this reason, most businesses know that the large number of the online business will definitely increase the income-generating possibility of the business.

However, most online entrepreneurs assume that for an online business to grow and generate good income in the Internet, the business must have its own product. This is because everything is a sale, even the thoughts that you have in your mind could count as a product for sale when presented in the Internet for other people’s use.

But opposing to most popular beliefs, having your own product does not limit you to the many possibilities of earning more by using a “license” that is attached with an “information product” that you may purchase online. These are known as Private Label Rights.

Private Label Rights is one of the three “basic rights” that are embodied in the concept of Resale Rights marketing. Among the three, Private Label Rights are considered as the most moneymaking and rewarding.

Private Label Rights are represented in a certificate or authorization that is attached with an “information item.” The basics of Private Label Rights is to permit people to transform, reorganize, change, or improve the elements of the said merchandise to go well with the buyer’s personal desires and yearnings.

For example, if you own a Private Label Rights, you are allowed to separate the contents of an ebook, and convince somebody to buy the contents as sequence of pieces of writing.

One of the greatest things about Private Label Rights is that you can actually do the same thing inversely. For instance, if you were able to buy a set of information products like a collection of articles embodied with Private Label Rights, you can easily bring them together without the risk of some law-related predicaments. Hence, you can collect different articles from different owners. With a common thought, you can come up with a creative masterpiece of information.

In addition, with Private Label Rights, you can simply customize the contents on the product to make it more meaningful and creative, therefore, creating an impression of having a product of your own.

Best of all, you can even put your name as the author of the product. This is the most rewarding aspect of having Private Label Rights. In this way, you do not have to acknowledge the primary author of the work.

So for those who are not yet aware of the rewards of using Private Label Rights, here is a list of some of the advantages:

1. It is just the thing for marking your name and your business’ name.

You can easily acquire informative products that you can use as your own with Private Label Rights. This creates an impression that you are making your own product and that you are a professional and a skilled person on the given field. In turn, you get the trust that you need in order to compel them to buy your product.

2. It triggers creativity.

One of the best things about Private Label Rights is that you can be creative in a thousand and one ways. This is because you can pull together the different elements and come up with a new and near-original work without having any difficulty of creating such product.

3. Develop a product!

With Private Label Rights, you can simply customize or improve a product if ever it does not fit your taste or needs. In this way, you can both cut back wasteful time by looking for products that are totally worthless or save more money by avoiding to create a whole new product.

However, even if some people contend that it is totally unethical for a person to sell the Private Label Rights for his creations, one cannot simply surmise the fact that engaging into this kind of activity is also beneficial to the seller especially if the product is already nearing the closing stages of its “market life.”

This goes to show that people must learn how to give way to any possible changes to any product that might have already lost its income-generating potential. By allowing other people to modify or enhance the features of certain products, the advancement of such products will continue to take place. And so, the cycle will go on.

Indeed, the basics of Private Label Rights are not just necessary for most of the Internet marketers who wish to earn more income aside from their own products but also for the whole market as well. This is because the whole system of a give and take relationship dwells in the business and that is exactly where income generates its power.

Why Aren’t You Using Linkbait?

December 14, 2009 - 8:32 am

You’ve heard of the olden days when people would hunt for potential link partners. Well, those days are long gone and smart web masters are moving on to greater things, while decreasing their reciprocal link building effort.

If you are wondering what this new technique could be, it’s actually quite simple… in theory. It is known as linkbaiting. This is a strategy that brings links to a website simply because of the unique and popular content on a website.

With the rise of the blogosphere and social bookmarking sites, all it takes is one person to notice an interesting page and link to a site. Once a link is passed around once, it becomes easier for it to spread further.

Bloggers around the net constanly use linkbait to encourage other bloggers to mention them or to get their content passed around the blogosphere. However, many traditional web masters have not quite latched on to this powerful technique.

The benefits of creating quality, unique, or even controversial content go way beyond what one might first imagine. When a web site offers true value to the visitor, they can create hundreds and even thousands of backlinks without even asking.

Unfortunately, simply having good, quality content on your site doesn’t always work. To gain the full potential of linkbaiting, you need a good hook. Some of the most popular ones include:

News

Controversy

Resources and…

Humor

News Hook: Everyone loves to read about industry news. However, the key to attracting some real traffic is to add a twist to the latest news. Find out exactly how it affects your web site visitors. If you just give a rehashing of what everyone else has already said, no one will care.

However, if you inject your own twist or personality into your news story, then you are prepared to catch someone’s eye.

Look at CNN.com as an example. What do they offer? They provide the latest news every day of the week. In the world of information that we live in, news is a commodity. Because CNN offers such appealing content, thousands of sites are linking to them. Do you think CNN sent these sites a little email asking if

they would be interested in a reciprocal link? Of course not.

Instead, they employ linkbaiting. Their fresh and interesting content automatically encourages other people to link to it. Luckily for us, we can use this same technique on our own web sites.

News is one of the best ways to attract incoming links, especially if the news is controversial.

Controversy Hook: Before we move on, I must warn you that this hook can be very powerful and also very dangerous. It involves contradicting what someone says, preferably someone very prominent in the industry.

When used correctly, controversy can be very effective in bringing traffic to your site, but always be careful.

To begin, look for articles and stories in your industry. Some of the best places to find this type of content is on blogs, news sites, and social bookmarking sites. Once you have found a good story, take an opposing viewpoint or give it some sort of twist. This will make your content stand out from the hum drum of what everyone else is publishing.

The next hook is actually one of my favorites. It is known as the resource hook.

Resource Hook: Information is powerful online. If you have information that is not available anywhere else, you become an authoritative resource. Many of these resources come in the form of a list.

You would be surprised at the power of a list. You can organize:

- a list of helpful tools that would be beneficial to your readers

- a list of the best blogs in your niche

- a list of popular news stories within your industry (When you are doing this kind of list, be sure to sprinkle in some of your own commentary)

One of my favorite lists is located at .seocompany.ca/tool/seo-tools.html, where they offer over 150 SEO tools. Simply by linking out to their favorite SEO tools they get tons of traffic each and every day.

Robin Good of MasterNewMedia is a webmaster who uses lists especially well. One of his most popular resource pages is a list of RSS and blog directories that webmasters can submit to. You can see it at: .masternewmedia.org/rss/top55/ .

However, not only does he show you over a hundred places where you can submit your blog and RSS feed, he also gives you an overview of each service, some commentary on which of these directories are the most influential, and exactly how to submit to each one.

This one page alone has thousands of incoming links to it because it is an invaluable resource.

Another popular resource hook is to create a useful online tool that your visitors can download for free. Once they have downloaded your free tool, let them rebrand it and give it away on their own sites.

Humor Hook: Have you ever received a joke or some other sort of humor in your inbox? If you are like most people, then you probably have. Jokes, funny stories, and wierd pictures are some of the most viral hooks on the Internet.

Within your own web site, you can add your own touch of humor. However, you must make sure that it fits with your personality. People on the internet want to see your true self.

Many companies have made their web sites an impersonal void. This is not the way the web works. The Web is an engaging and interactive community of people. When you start giving your web site some personality, people will start taking notice. The ordinary is simply too easy to pass over.

Another key to remember when employing linkbaiting is that your article or news story should almost always link out to leading industry web sites or influential bloggers. There are so many web sites who are afraid to link out to other sites. However, by mentioning other web sites and bloggers, you

would be surprised at the number of people who start linking to you.

Bloggers are a group of web masters who realize the power of linking to others. Within the blogoshpere, links are spread willingly to those who provide great content. As a result, they all receive more traffic than they would alone.

Final Verdict

The term linkbaiting itself may sound a little fishy, but it’s not. If you are a good web master, you should always strive for your content to be linkbait. This simply means that your content is of such quality that others simply can’t help but link to it.

Why Becoming An Affiliate Marketer?

December 13, 2009 - 7:12 pm

Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective ways to market online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner. The website owner, or the affiliate, allows the use of their site for the promotion of the merchant’s products by linking to the merchant’s website. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission to the affiliate on all sales generated by the affiliate. Every time someone clicks on the link on the affiliate website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. The merchant will pay the affiliate only when a customer clicks on the product link and makes a purchase.

Affiliate marketing programs are described as a win-win situation for both the merchant and the affiliate because of the pay-for-performance scheme. Both the merchant and the affiliate enjoy some benefits in affiliate marketing. There are many benefits on the merchant’s side. It gives the merchant a wider market in which to advertise a product or service. Affiliate marketing will give the product or service the maximum exposure that it may not get with other traditional advertising techniques. The more affiliate sites a merchant has, the higher the traffic, which can convert to sales. Affiliate marketing is the equivalent of having an army of sales people who will do the advertising and will only get a commission if a customer purchases.

Meanwhile, since an affiliate marketing relationship is a win-win situation, the affiliate also enjoys many benefits. Foremost among these is the easy way to make a profit. The affiliate can earn by having an ad or link to the merchant’s website, which prospective customers will hopefully click and proceed to make a purchase. As soon as the customer clicks on the ad on the affiliate’s site, is redirected to the merchant’s website and goes on to buy that particular product, the affiliate earns a commission. The more referrals there are the more profit for the affiliate.

Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to earn money while at home. There are virtually no production costs. The product is already developed and proven by the merchant, and all you have to do to find, as many prospects as you can that will bring in the profit for both the merchant and the affiliate. Affiliate programs are usually free to join, so affiliates do not have to worry about start-up costs. There are thousands of products and services you can choose from. You can find affiliate programs for every product under the sun. Surely, there is a product or service out there that is relevant to your website.

In addition, there is absolutely no sales experience necessary. Most affiliate programs offer excellent support when it comes to providing marketing material. The simplicity of affiliate marketing allows you to be an affiliate marketer at the least cost and the most comfort. You can even build a successful affiliate marketing business right in the convenience of your own home. In affiliate marketing, your responsibility is simply to find prospects for the merchant; you do not have to worry about inventory, order processing, and product shipping. These, along with customer service support are the duties of the merchant.

Because of the global reach of the internet, you can easily find thousands of prospects. You can intensify your advertising campaign by exploiting more aggressive and productive strategies such as viral marketing. By attracting more prospects, you also maximize your potential to earn. Another benefit of an affiliate marketer is the minimal risk involved. If the product you are advertising is not making money then you can dump it and choose another. There are no long-term binding contracts tying you to products that are not making enough money.

All the same, the best benefit of being an affiliate marketer is the opportunity to increase your income; and you can make a profit even if affiliate marketing is only a sideline business. With your own affiliate business, you can earn easily earn extra income, although you do have to exert effort and use your imagination to maximize your earning potential. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and most effective business opportunities on the web today.

Why Christians Fail at Internet Marketing

December 10, 2009 - 2:06 pm

A Christian begins to think about marketing online, and wants to market to the Christian Internet Market. After some extensive research, he or she finds that the Christian Internet market is saturated with multilevel, get-rich-quick, gifting, Ponzi schemes, and surf programs. The Christian either chooses to become involved in one of the above-mentioned schemes, thinking that is what Christians are looking for, or decides that Christians aren’t willing to pay for good content or services online.

Unfortunately, the Christian is wrong on both accounts. Christians are willing to pay for good content and services online, but sadly enough, there are very few good Christian services online. Why? Because marketers, both Christian and Secular alike, have assumed that Christians will not pay for online products, because they are unwilling to spend money online. That is the problem. While many Christians, in the early years of the Internet, may have been reluctant to spend money online, with the advent of better Internet filters and screening software, more Christians are spending time online. I contend that the only reason they don’t spend more money online is because of the dearth of good Christian content online. I believe there is a conspicuous absence of good Christian content online, and I believe that those who step up in 2006 and supply the content will get rich doing it.

That may be a bold statement, and some of you will quit reading right now. Go ahead.

Those of you who are still reading, think about this for a moment. When is the best time to get involved in a new window of opportunity? When it first becomes a new window of opportunity, right? I contend that this year, 2006, will be a break-out year for Christian online marketing and sales.

Now, get me right here. I do NOT mean more Ponzi schemes and multi-level games. I mean good, Christian, grounded, chockful-of-useful-information web-based content. Content like information materials that teach about popular Christian topics like Christian self-improvement, Christian dating, Christian success, and Christian values. Products like Christian books, Christian videos, Christian web-sites, Christian marketing tools, and Christian studies.

Another vital point here. These products must be two things: 1) Bona-fide faith-based products that are not ashamed of the Christian identity and 2) High-quality products that contain as much or more good content as a competing secular product. You cannot think that just because a Christian sees a product with a Christian label that that will close the sale. It must be worth every penny you price it at.

If you want to get involved in Christian Internet Marketing, now is the time. Do it.

Niche Jerk

December 7, 2009 - 11:34 am

Here is the first rule anyone learns who is even remotely concerned with marketing …

“Sell the sizzle and not the steak.”

In other words, an appeal to what excites the consumer is much more effective than the properties of the product. This is not necessarily deceptive. In many cases, products can be so similar that the only real difference among them is in their perception, ie- ’sizzle,’ by the public.

If ever anyone in cyberspace has excelled with this principle, it’s The Rich Jerk.

If you’ve done any significant cybercruising, you’ve surely encountered his promotional campaign. His spiel is impressively creative. He claims that he’s rich, not necessarily because he works harder than you, but because he’s better than you. As a result, he doesn’t really care what you think about him or whether you’re interested in buying his product. However, he makes it very clear that it’s due to his product that he can claim his arrogant superiority over you and everyone else.

The Rich Jerk could be the Don Rickles of the 21st century. He revels in spewing insults at his audience, and the more he wallows in rudeness, the more effective his message becomes. Some readers may not be amused by his angle, but most recognize that he goes so over the top with his approach that his point is made. He purports to be so financially free that it doesn’t matter what others think of him, and therein lies the sizzle.

The Rich Jerk’s product is a mere staple of cyberspace: he’s selling a work-at-home internet business concept. There’s nothing earth-shaking in his content. It’s basically the same as what everyone else in the genre is selling:

1) Find a product,

2) Get a website,

3) Promote the product,

4) Reap the profits.

The Rich Jerk has some leads that may expedite the process, but none of those are anything exceptional, either. Results will vary. Few will join him in richness.

Still, that’s not the Rich Jerk’s issue. His job is selling his product. He’s doing it legally and effectively. As far as I’m concerned, he’s merely selling the cyber-equivalent of bottled water; he’s taking something you can get for free, putting an aura around it and getting you to pay for it. Willingly.

Another principle taught in marketing is that of cognitive dissonance. Basically, this term infers that consumers have a tendency to justify their purchase of a product by noting its advantages to them and downplaying any disadvantages. For example, in this case, they’d say they’ve bought a step-by-step tutorial for getting into a work-at-home business and have saved time over anyone trying to gather all that information by themselves, even though the task can be done for free with a bit of search-engineering. Almost every positive comment I’ve seen about The Rich Jerk’s product confirms this tendency.

Thus, the Rich Jerk has his bases covered. His sizzle is alluring, his product may be obvious, but it’s legitimate and his aftermarket has afterglow.

Not only has the Rich Jerk seemingly done well for himself, he’s spawned a cottage industry for others. Copycats are abounding. So far, I’ve already seen ads for the Money King and The Rich Pig; more are probably on the way. They’re poor imitations, but in cyberspace, duplication is a successful form of flattery. They might actually profit from their near-plagiarism.

There is one facet of Jerkdom that is worth calling to your attention, though, which involves the third sales principle I’d like to mention: incentive marketing. This involves giving a consumer something for nothing, in some manner, in order to realize a profit.

Enter The Free Jerk. He’s offering to give you the Rich Jerk product, legally, in return for your simply reading his critique of it. That’s his product.

The Free Jerk profits because you’re going to first pay for the Rich Jerk’s product, after which The Free Jerk gives you a 100% rebate. In effect, he’s ’sharing’ the affiliate’s commission he receives from The Rich Jerk for your purchase. He makes up the financial difference — and then some — by directing your details, for another commission, to major cyberspace advertisers who see you as an ‘active’ cyber-consumer. Thus, he realizes a net profit and you get what becomes a ‘free’ copy of the Rich Jerk’s product. You also get directed to additional advertising, but The Free Jerk tells you in advance that it’s coming your way, so you do have a choice.

Thus, the Jerk industry is a niche of ironies. Sizzle is on sale, and if you’re so inclined, you can accept someone else’s sizzle in exchange for being exposed to further sizzle in order to acquire the original sizzle for nothing more than a bit of after-sizzle.

And while all this is in process, someone’s making money and everyone has the possibility of being satisfied with their end of the deal.

As the consumer who catalyzes this Jerk-a-thon, perhaps that makes you the Niche Jerk.

Marketing is indeed alive and well in cyberspace.

Why is it One of the Most Cost-Effective Ways to Advertise your Business

December 5, 2009 - 7:38 am

Ever heard of affiliate programs? These are forms of Internet advertising that rewards the affiliates for driving traffic to the advertiser or for other transactions. The advertiser pays the affiliate to place a link on their website, and the affiliate sends traffic to the advertiser in return. Simply put, it’s about paying commissions to people who help you make sales. It’s that easy. NOT.

Affiliate marketing has its ups and downs. It could be draining if you are not armed with updated information and the technical how-tos. But this article’s sole objective is to reach out to you and not to badmouth affiliate marketing.

Here are the following reasons on why web marketers go gaga over affiliate marketing as a form of Internet advertisement.

1. Low cost

Many are scared to go on a home based business because of the capital required. In affiliate marketing, you don’t have to spend much to start raking in moolah.

2. Inventories not included

Product management fuss could be very stressing. An inventory is not asked to be maintained. The merchant does the maintenance required.

3. Unlimited income through leverage

When you have a paid job, your monthly income mainly relies on whether you go to work or not. With affiliate marketing, your affiliates could all just lead traffic to your site without having to lift a finger after providing them your ad copy and links. Though not every web marketer earns limitless, it still is a fact that all the necessary matters for the advertiser or Internet marketer are all there to be successful.

4. Go worldwide

With affiliate marketing, you are dealing with a global market place. All you have to do is choose a niche product and prepare all the necessary tools for your affiliates to lead traffic from just about anywhere to your website.

5. Low risk

The very main reason for Internet marketer’s enthusiasm with affiliate marketing is its having a low risk factor. Especially for those with low budget set aside for advertising, affiliate marketing is just the way to do it.

6. No closing time

With affiliate marketing, your business works every single second of the day while targeting a worldwide market! What could be better than that?

But all of these will be put to waste if you don’t have the right niche product and all the other important tools to make it big in affiliate marketing, i.e., well-SEO-ed website. So better work on this first before ever considering those benefits.

Why People say - There is no money in Internet Marketing.

December 3, 2009 - 8:33 pm

Just finished check my email. Nothing new, three payment notification emails from PayPal, two new ClickBank sales, one new prospect in membership site I’m promoting and one mail from a frustrated marketer “I’ve been doing Internet marketing for last 3 years, I’ve joined so many programs. I

max out my credit card but haven’t made a dime yet.”

I receive this type of mails daily and always wonder why people don’t earn money through Internet. In fact it’s the easiest way to make money. I think there may be two reasons behind it.

1. People are not willing to learn.

People don’t want to learn. A research shows that 97% people think that they are smarter than others and they need not to learn new things. I’m not saying that they are wrong. Off course they are expert in their field but when it comes to other field or say Internet marketing they are zero. They don’t know anything about it so they should learn first.

You may ask what about the rest 3%. Well these 3% people don’t think they are smarter (they are actually smartest) and they try to learn from everyone. That’s why these 3% people are having 97% wealth of the world.

2. Internet is filled with hypes.

The second reason is that internet is filled with hypes. There are thousands of companies and marketers, who want only your money. They don’t care about you and usually don’t deliver what they promised. When somebody tries to

learn from them, he ends up with an exhausted credit card and a belief that “There is no money in Internet Marketing”

So the real question is what you should do to get succeed. In one line “Learn everything from a reliable source and implement that strategies in your business.

There is a shocking fact “successful internet marketers don’t try to sale anything to anybody”.

“What, how will they earn money if they don’t sale” you may ask. Well first they gain trust of people and than simply recommend some product. The best way to gain trust is give them some valuable gift. It may be a mini-course, a short report or some kind of software. You too can do it.

>> I don’t have enough knowledge to create a mini-course or report.

>> I don’t have any software to giveaway.

>> I am not so famous why people will trust me.

>> I can’t do it because I am too young or too old.

>> I missed the right time to enter in Internet marketing.

You may sound like this but there is always a way around what-ever the excuse is. When these famous marketers started, nobody knows them. Today we have a marketer who earned millions in just 19 years of age. So don’t forget “There is always a way.”

So here is a short and simple way to get success:

1. Join list of 5-6 well-known marketers.

The first step is very important. Join mailing list of 5-6 famous marketers and learn what they teach you. If you learn carefully, you’ll come to know that things are always same, the only difference is way of presentation. When you

join some e-courses from famous marketers, you’ll have enough data to compile your own course. I’m not saying that you just copy their course. Grab an Idea from their course and make yours.

2. Search for free software you can giveaway.

You can find thousands of software, ebooks for free online. Just get a few good software or ebooks to offer as incentives to people.

I’ve just discovered breakthrough money-making software. This software generate sale and automatically deliver products just by giving away for free. Get your copy of this amazing software at no cost here:

.ultimatemoneytyphoon.com/umt/

Now offer your mini e-course, report or software to people nd gain their trust. Once you have their trust, you can recommend them new products and earn over and over again. Again don’t try to sell anything to anybody, just give them your recommendation.

Examples of free content that became an asset is any musician that you know and love. The Righteous Brothers are a classic group that came up with a few chart-topping hits and assuming that they wrote the music themselves, created an asset that has continued to create revenue even decades later.

It’s fast and easy to create info products. This article took me about an hour to create and as part of a series of articles could be sold as a ebook or mini-course that created cashflow. What if they want to earn more, they are limited to their earning capacity. You are well aware of the need for leverage hence you’re reading this article. Online enterprises are one of the best forms of leverage. You can create a 24 hour money machine that never tires.

The types of info products you can create are ebooks or electronic books, where your information can be saved as a pdf or in a custom application. The next is an audio product where all you need is a decent microphone and earphones. Software can be downloaded for free or cheaply that will compress your audio into an appropriate format. The final type is video. Will FFAs get me banned from Google?

November 28, 2009 - 9:57 pm

The webmaster’s nightmare. “Oh my god, my listing is gone from google!!!” or yahoo, or msn or any of the big search engines.

We all know that traffic is the life blood of any online endeavor. Without traffic you can’t make sales. Search engine traffic is the most reliable source of high quality traffic. High quality being visitors who are looking specifically for the products or services you sell.

FFAs or Free For All links pages are considered low quality traffic sources. IE people randomly surfing, clicking on whatever looks interesting. Not really searching for anything and very unlikely to buy anything.

There is however another role that FFAs play. Bulk submition to FFAs or blasting FFAs creates hundreds of links to your web site. The number of links to your site is part of how google and other search engines rank your site. The more links the higher your ranking.

Now here is the problem. Traditional wisdom among webmasters, internet marketers and internet gurus is that too many FFA links. Considered low quality links, will get you banned from search engines.

In other words, the belief is that if google thinks you are trying to boost your rankings by adding a lot of low quality links they will ban you.

So will they? My only answer has to be, “not in my experience.”

Here is a little history of my internet marketing journy. For the longest time I was wasting money on this traffic generating ebook and that traffic generating system. I was getting a pitance of search engine traffic and no google traffic. So I decided “So what if I get banned.”. I wasn’t getting google traffic anyway, how would being banned hurt me?

I started FFA blasting 3 or more times a week and guess what. Google traffic. Not huge amounts by any means, but google traffic none the less. Not only google iether. Ask.com, yahoo and many others. Even a fair amount of FFA page traffic.

So what am I saying here? It’s simple. No one knows how google or yahoo or ask.com ranks web site except google, yahoo or ask.com. The search engines, like any good business, are constantly tweaking and changing their ranking rules. These rules are secret. Any internet marketing guru who claims to have “broken the google code” is either lieing out right or working off old information. Don’t believe them.

In my experience making your internet foot print as large as possible is the best traffic generating strategy. Submitting to FFAs is the quickest easiest way to do this.

If you are already making a good living with free google traffic, great don’t change a thing. In fact write an article so I can learn your secrets. If you are yet to get your first google hit, start submitting to FFAs. In my experience only good things will come of it.

Good luck in your web marketing.
